I printed the smallest one and the wings don’t fold at all is it designed like that or is it just me

I've printed the 200 scale model and the wings don't fully fold out. If I try to force it it breaks them so they fold out too far. There is enough clearance so that the wings can wiggle, but they can't extend all the way. Am I missing anything?

Can you tell me where / how to get drawings like this to use as reference in deg 3D models?

The blueprint is just used as a background art and was not used as a reference when modeling this 3d model. I bought the vector drawing from https://www.the-blueprints.com/vectordrawings/show/4021
